338 feels dressy
I can't argue with you when you say the 292 is too big for you. Personally, I went the opposite direction, i.e. moving from 42mm to 47mm. My wrist is small too but the 47 rad looks fine on my wrist. Unlike many other brands that enlarge their watches to suit the trend, Panerai has always been big historically.
The "SMALL" 42mm rad is still with me and because of it's size, I classify it as a dress watch to go with shirts and suits. This brings me to my next point:
Although the 338 and the JLC 1931 are very different watches, they are both dress watch in my mind. IMHO, you may want to consider the roles they play in your collection. Perhaps the 292 has a special role to play too.

of the brand, the key issue as I see it is that the 292 has not been in action for 2 years, so it's time to move it on. As to the 338, it's definitely a very nice watch, but as some has said so, try it on for a couple of times before selling and buying. H...

Hi, I have a 42mm Radiomir and for me it fits perfectly. I just don't know if I could pull off a 45mm or 47mm with my wrist and understand your possible decision to chose the smaller size. This goes against the trend of bigger and bigger, but not all of u...
