Officine Panerai

Hi all.... i cannot decide which one to get, the price different is very minimal that it is not even a deciding factor to me. I want to know how the two movement compare (I know one is manual and one is automatic). Can you guys help?

That's very true Chris.... but some say Panerai has pushed the dial too far out (too close to the rim of the crown) leaving too much empty space in the middle... oh well...

the 505, with the "english" Blackseal on the dial, automatic movement and the date is a...mutation..gone bad, as a Panerai. The crisp, essential dial with 3-6-9-12 and small seconds at 9 (steeped in Panerai tradition) is the..quintessential P A N E R A I.... 

Then i guess that your choice is the 47mm 504? That's probably my choice too.....the date sort of ruin the clean look IMO....

Do I need a seconds hand? Do I care if watch is an automatic or a manual? Answer the above 2 questions, and then you should have your answer. If you're stuck still, then just go with whichever one "looks" better to your eye. You can't go wrong with either...
