A small mystery...
since the pictures on the official Panerai website show a solid caseback, I can only conclude that the pictures in the web are NOT accurate and the model they refer to, it's not a 682 (it wouldn't be the first time that happens). If they produced it with a see-through case and changed to a solid back, I wouldn't have any idea as to why they modified the model. After all, I don't work in...Panerai

Here are some reviews from reputable sites. All display case backs. So they changed it i guess but why?
