Just wanted to check with all you knowledgeable people that this watch is OK, feels nice and solid and chunky and looks great but what worried me is the numbers on the back. op66XX bb117XXXX I 0844/1500 but have told only 1000 were made of Pam 49I? Think ... 

The PAM 049 OP6625 millesimation for series "I" is 1500. Congrats on your first PAM! Cheers, Asi

So if you're basing your decision on purchasing it because only 1500 pieces were made in I-series, keep in mind that thousands and thousands of PAM49's have been made already, so the PAM49 isn't "limited" as you think it is. Buy the PAM49 only if you like... 

i am a bit worried about the size though so guess i will visit a dealer and try one on. Was not getting 49 as it was limited it was just what i liked, and it is very cool. Thanks Andy

so I doubt you will find it sitting at an AD (although you never know....). I would not worry about the size because a Rad wears smaller that a Luminor or 1950 case. Your best shot is to go for a pre-owned, face to face deal. Cheers, Asi
