Beautiful! In my opinion the brown strap works excellent with the blue dial!
But I agree, a 2. alternative strap would have been nice.
Remember the watch industry is on financial pressure right now, I guess that is the reason for the reluctance to give you an additional strap.
Regarding the size: Much to big for me a s well - unfortunately I have small wrists... :-( Would be one of my dream watches, if it would be 42mm... Or the 688 (with no GMT) ... Maybe Panerai will release something like this next year...

This model is neither a Limited Edition, nor a Boutique Edition.
A quick visit to the Panerai's official website, finds it itemmized in the..normal..production and not in the LE one

In Panerai website, I also can't see informations about limitation. But this should still be the case, right? I don't see why they should suddenly switch from LE to normal production for 100% the same watch. I think? PAM690 ...

Your boutique in HH should tell u as well. If they continue to produce it with a limitation of 500 per year or not is hard to tell. But I wouldn't bother too much. Fact is that you received a beautiful watch which you won't see to often.
Just enjoy the beautiful watch.
The fact that is not an LE, shouldn't take anything away from how much you like it, right?
