I totally agree with your point 3. I guess that it is what makes all the value of some watches like Panerai or Rolex, in the Vintage world. But it is true that it makes a BIG difference when you look at the whole watch. I also understand your " reserves "...

I have 20 Panerais but if you were to take pictures of my wrist, of late, you'd photograph a 22B, 26B, 1A or a 201A LOGO... Tritium does you in, trust me....hahahaha Ciao - Sergio

so I did some research last night on pre A Panerai.... all I can say is ..OMG now I know what you bought.. any wow wow wow,,, thats a rare beast I feel like it is a Rolex 6538 or something like that, a piece of OP history... my heartiest congrats to you, ...
