I dont own both but I have played around with both watches before...
They both have total opposite character...
323 is automatic , a little bit dressier and it is a heavy watch
While 339 is manual winding, has a vintage look to it, dueto it's brown color and it is very light...
I would suggest you to figure out what are you going to wear it for... If you're going to wear it for your professional life, I think 323 is the choice... But if you're looking to wear it for casual wear 339 is definitely the watch to have...
If the choice is given to me, I'd pick 339 anytime.. As it is a unique combination of Panerai's military root and modern Pamerai's watchmaking know how with the material and movement...

but since both Watches are VERY Different in terms of Look Function & Complications. it should be very easy to pick one out.. so it all depends on what you Want in a Watch.! besides,NO need to Pay over the Retail for the 339 . they're just starting to...

Gotta agree. My 292 is pretty casual.. and I feel the 339 falls pretty much into that same category. The 323 is definitely more of a dressier piece, but could also be worn casually.
