Bumps that I facing during the making of my first straps

 

The most difficult part is to get all the right tools its not because its difficult to find but rather I dunno which is which so I spend hell lots of time in hardware stores and DIY centers to try to figure out things. Secondly is to get the right piece of leather or rather where to buy a piece of used and season leather, then follow by the search for the right threads.

Well when you got all your stuffs and tools then its just a matter of sitting down for a few hours and little bit of patience follow the step by step instruction by some very kind people who share their experience in straps making. Here's some link but mostly in Chinese :

Since I bought my PAM164 last year been seeing lots of PAM fans made their own straps in various websites and forum so after much research and getting all the tools and materials ready finally I did it over an afternoon on last sunday. Can't stop the hapi...

Btw, can you share with us what was the most difficult part of making your strap?

Most of us have never even tried to make our own straps, so I'm curious to hear what was the most difficult part of making the strap? Cheers, Anthony
