Good move!
I was in Firenze two days ago and stopped by the Panerai Boutique. They told me that a week or so ago the first 317 appeared and to date Panerai has made just one. They expect it will be a quite while before they (PAM 317s) appear in any quantity. As I recall it took quite a while before Panerai actually made the Ceramic Black Seal, now they are available. So I expect the same thing is going to happen with the 317. Like you I decided to take the plunge now and stepped up and bought a PAM 277, which is pretty much the same thing as the 317, only it's in Rose Gold. I think we both made a good move!

Great watch and super congrats
Besides the central secs, I also like the bezel on the PAM29 which doesn't get much notice. The big numerals along with the black filled paint adds to the vintage look of the watch IMO. Cheers, Anthony
