Great point regarding the blue hands standing out more. I have the PAM 720 which the blue hand and always found they pop less than the normal gold hands. However on these new dial which are a bit less dark in the middle the blue hands pop more
especially in the grey

I saw these in person last week
My only thoughts were how nice to would be at 42mm. I love the style but very sparse at 47mm. Interestingly with Panerai as people seem to be abandoning the brand for several reasons I am finding more and more to like in recent offerings.

They are optically large due to sparsity of the dial, I love the style though.

Fair point about the price. That is an objection many have given the movement, but I have to agree with you.
As far as the OP’s concern over stability of this steel, I didn’t realize something like this can patina. That would give me second thoughts even though I really like this piece.

The case looks very attractive - something between polished and brushed.. I suppose it’s similar to brushed steel and so it should be fine..
I wonder if the steel has had a chemical treatment to achieve effect.

very true both are nice and one could have fun with both...just a bit more flexibility with the grey on straps but several options could be possible for the blue as well!
Keep in mind 6 months ago I did not think rose gold case could be strap monster and not my VC rose gold is getting paired with all sort of straps ))
