... prone to scuffs and scratches which would stand out. This watch was purchased as a set in 2017 and has seen very little wearing and I try to be very careful whith it.
A few years ago I bought a little Hamilton with a black case and I gave a good use and case still looks pristine. And I received my black case Pam05218 last November and had been wearing for several weeks and it´s still in perfect condition. But again, I wear my watches with care and the black ones with extra care.
It is interesting to note that the older Pam 649 here is PVD coated and the new 05218 is given a "DLC" coating which is based in diamond as per Panerai information thus giving better protection and durability. I can´t confirm this except that the new coating looks "more black" than PVD which looks like dark charcoal.
