if it weren't for the inesplicable "8 days" on the dial, it would have been a very close call (for me of course) between the 557 and the 368.

217 and the MM on it, its dial is not as terse and quintessential as the 557's. In the less IS more department the 557 wins hands down. Perhaps, without the word Panerai on the lower part of the dial, I would be writing something else This, as usual, is m...

The fact that it has a very nice movement also gives a special charm.... for those who like tou turn around the watch and see something different And not to forget .... a very short run of watches were made

titanium/tobacco is the only reason why I mentioned the 368. The ridiculous script "8 days", relegates the model in the "what were they thinking" category and makes it...forgettable. IMO of course.

In this case i can easily live the "8days", as lower run production , movement , titanium , doomed glass, are important features to me, and also a brutal buckle. The 557 has all the rest. We are all different "tastewise" and i often wonder why nobody ment... 

you'll find quite a few "denouncing" the 1950, on the Fiddy's dial as perfectly..useless. I also wrote that I like it ONLY because I was born in 1950. I also censured the "Firenze" on the dial of 2 of my....FAVOURITE....Panerais: the 604 and 605 calling b... 

i do like the balance of the dial, the T/T combination , doomed glass, and the movement. Nice destro for me..... ...
