The good thing about the depth indicator is that it matches the depth rating...so you know when to expect it to flood....

Battery - Depth Gauge
Battery on the Depth Gauge is a Lithium Ion Battery - Lasts for 500 diving hours...when it is low, you can't use the depth gauge, it will just go to 12 o'clock position then back to off...Great Watch! Lovin' mine...Take Care, Craig
