I decided

to get this one as I like three hand watches. Also, I had the means to purchase this one as I had offloaded a Patek Philippe which did not feel quite right on my wrist due to size. I only had it a few weeks. I am a well known customer of a secondhand watch dealer downtown and he asked me why I had not been bitten by the PAM bug. I admit that I do like tritium. The 510 was close to being my first Panerai, but the 22 A series is quite special. Maybe I will get the 510 one day. I'm finding that 40-44mm is my new sweet spot. Previous watches I've posted on PuristS have tended to be 34-37mm

I anticipate that the Panerai will be in the collection for a while. It's the biggest watch I have and it's a massive 23mm wider than my smallest watch. I'm liking larger watches now.
