I did get a scolding....
because of the 587. A short time before producing the 673-587 duo, Panerai released a limited edition for Russian Paneristi (PAM622) which has a 6152 type case. I phoned the Florence boutique and managed to book one. As I wrote above, a very short time after that, they released the 587 in a 6154 case (or so I was told, by people that know more than I do). So I called Florence and I asked to get that one too. That's when the manageress scolded me, telling me that they couldn't produce watches JUST FOR ME and invited me, somewhat brusquely to make my mind up and tell her which one I wanted Lollllllllllllllllllllllll So, here was my choice....
My favorite PAM makes an appearance!
It's funny. I have a few PAMs, including the 587. A friend of mine wants to buy it, but it's the one I won't sell. I've told him, I could let the 721 or maybe the 673 or 249 go, but why do you want the 587? He says, 'I don't know, I just like it best'.
