I have a blue dial Mare Nostrum
They are pretty cool, and hard to find, very comfortable - i have another regular Luminor (311) which i wear more, but i see enough Panerai in my peer group in London, and if you like wearing something special that no one else has, the Mare Nostrum's are great.....my blue 006 is not my daily wear, but looks pretty classy for formal occasions....

I like the size of it and a white dialed Panerai...well...it's not the obvious choice. Not an easy find.

I know a well known shop in Perth, Australia with a 006. They've been trying to sell it for a while and are open to sensible offers. Sure it doesn't have box and papers, but it's on the original blue strap with sewn in buckle

I would have probabily written: buy one you like. But if he mentions...collection...not much of a choice there, the 207A is the only "albino" worth collecting. IMO of course

the "Italian" ones (Pre-V) ARE part of the brand's history, the..Swiss ones...not so much (if collection is still the..key-word..)
The MN PAM 6 / 7 and 8 have a lot of the 301, 302 and 304.

I just wanted to prove to you (and in general)...
that I'm not a..monodimentional...chappie. Jokes aside, when I wore it on the wrist (the 518) I was pleasently surprised by how..terse..was the dial full of everything. Amazing. I would never buy it, of course, but what a handsome model
