I know the purists don’t all appreciate this one

 

But I really like it. It’s a big 42mm. I can’t imagine what a traditional 47mm version would look like. And my wrist is 7 ”.

suited for a 47mm Panerai (even a Luminor). It's your eyes and your horological "background" that refuse it. I have lots of friends with a 16.5-16cm wrists that use 47mm Panerai without any problem :P That being said, you like this model, you bought this ...

42mm is a good size and it works wel with that watch. Congrats to a great choice.
