My 98 has been with me many years
It works fine so far. Pam098 is a unique piece. It may not be particularly popular among pam lovers, but that's exactly why I love it. Coz you rarely see it on the wrist of another person. Quite a conversation starter that suits both casual and formal wears. Many thought that it has got a GP movement but the truth is, the movement was a A. Schild 5008 from the 70's. It is an automatic movement that winds up both the time telling mechanism, as well as the alarm. It is distinct from the way JL's memovox works. I'm not saying whether it is better or worse. I love my 98. The alarm is so distinctive and functional. It travels very well and is sized great for wearing with French cuffs.
