my new beater is a panerai ....
thought i'd getaway from panerai's charm since the 2011 were all 47mms, but a friend's pam 372 caught my eyes and the damage is severe on my wallet with a grey market's premium because i was late to put my name in the ADs.

my new beater.... the amazing part about the pam 372 is the case, i had the pam 127 but as it looked like a clock on my wrist, i sold it off shortly after various strapped on and deemed 47mm is not for me. the pam 372 is still big , however, it did not seemed so unwearable after i tried my friend's new toy over the CNY, and i am taken by the vintage appeal especially with the engraved " luminor panerai" and the aged lumes. i guess a few dings, a worn strap and hairlines will give it more life and suit my beater's requirements. this watch also rekindled my love for panerai and am queueing for the pam 399, without the crown guard.
