The Gator will soften with use. Just bear the pain for a few weeks. I concur on the comfort of rubber straps. That’s about all I wear on my Panerai. Great thing with rubber is there are so many color ways that’ll work with your 183. I think I’m up to 8 di... 

Can’t get over how good the radiomir style looks with the unique combo of crown, strap bars and sizing. Cheers!
