I know they ship with a spare because it is inevitably going to get scratched. And the original probably had plastic. But wouldn't you guys have preferred it if the watch had shipped with sapphire glass? Inquisitively yours, Carl

The only watch with plexi glass that I've ever owned was an IWC Portuguese Pereptual, and I owned it for around 2 years and never got a scratch on the plexi glass. The extreme curvature of the plexi glass gives the watch a different look. I believe the cu...

When I recently tried one on for size I noticed it had a very curved top.....then of course the Omega Speedmaster Pro - but that does come with on option of a flat 'saphire sandwhich' front and back. It definately has a warmth to it that you just don't ge... 

Not a plexy on the Amvox I....But a saphire glass. You're right, it is curved.

Hi Carl, Although I wear my plexi-249 not very often (once or twice a week), I've never had any scratches during the last few months. The plexi reminds me of the 249's prototype....the 3646....not quite close but at least pretty much look alike. As it alm...
