Some shots of a nice Nero Ceramic Luminor (PAM00441)
Hi everyone,
I don't possess one but I like Panerais very much; great style and spirit imho.
I could try the Luminor 1950 3 Days GMT Automatic in black Ceramic earlier this year and didn't post the pictures yet.
The way the ceramic case is treated (sandblasted) looks very nice (much nicer than brushed or polished ones, from my PoV) and the watch (44mm) in that color looks smaller than a steel version.
I have a small wrist but this one looks "acceptable" from my habits.
The strap is not something I would have thought of but it is very well matching this case.
Do we have owners of this reference or of Ceramic cases who would wish to share their experience about ageing issues?

Forgive me but....
an automatic + date + gmt watch has NOTHING to do with the...great style and spirit of PANERAI. A solotempo, manually wound model, on the other hand...
Both Sergio & Nicolas are still stuck in the past :)

This is the usual approach on iconic models from a brand
It can be tough for someone so used to seeing the original models to accept changes. It is perfectly understandable. However, it doesn't mean the brand cannot mature out of a limited area. Evolution, improvement and differenciation is not so bad a thing, ...
I have no problems....
whatsoever with the..evolution of a brand (Panerai included) and even less problems with Richemont producing whichever model they think are best suited to increase the sales and status of the brand. I don't find the 441 a "not nice watch", on the contrary...

I have a 505 it\'s not the ceramic but a composite case that\'s brown in color. I got it new in February this year and so far the case has been great no scratches or marks on it. I think over time it may get a nice patina on it but only time will tell. At...
Sorry to burst the bubble but....
luminova indices do not develop a...patina...over time. Only the radium and Tritium ones do. Unless you're referring to a possible..patina..on the case itself (a la 382). I still think it will never develop (it hasen't so far on my 339) but wish you luck ...

I didn\'t think it would but wasn\'t sure. Thanks for the info cause if the 339 didn\'t after time then I\'m sure the 505 won\'t. I have heard that there were a few problems with the 339 case have you had any issues?
Apart from a couple of cases....
I read about (and saw pictures of) immediately after the first releases, nothing more. Even then, I saw the pictures BUT, the real reasons for the damage, was NEVER disclosed in full. Personally, I believe they must have been abused beyond logic. Never ha...
A slight patina should develop from normal wear & tear
Most likely just the oils on your skin that will slowly absorb into the composite case ,if you ask me, which could change the look very slightly. Cheers, Anthony
