I can say it, this re edition of the Vintage Egiziano is a big hit! Here, the Vintage model: This is indeed a very faithful work from Panerai. All is respected and with the exception of the golden hands which don't figure on this re edition ( but it may b...
If you have to add it in your collection, due to your pieces??? Yes, for an hardcore fan, but for once, the hard core fans weren't deceived. Best. Nicolas This message has been edited by amanico on 2009-01-22 22:36:34
a smaller 47 (if they would ever think about it) won't be the same. the Egiziano was and therefore must be 60 mm. But as you said, how do you wear such a watch ? Imo it is THE collectors item, and if you allow me I think it's even more special than the 20...
... like handcuffs ... probably somr will go to the POLIZIA ... Now serious .... this is indeed a serious watch and a very nice one .... but offcourse too big for the wrist. But as you stated, i can imagie this will be a serious collector's item. Thank yo...
This is one piece i'm gonna get! And i'm on the way to being the 1st in Japan to get it! I do have a few questions which i wish to know: 1). I understand from Anthony that the bezel rotates in both directions, but in what increment does it turn? 1 minute?...
1/ As for the bezel, it is per minute, not per five minutes. 2/ Yes, the crystal is not flush with the bezel, but you see that on the Rolex Sub 1680, for example, and on some other Vintage Watches. 3/ No marking for the moment, because it is a proto, and ...
third sight .... I just madly love this big piece Red markers on 15 30 and 45 on bezel is such a nice touch for me ... congrats Panerai this one is a new classic and must have for every Panerai addict WOW WOW WOW! BEst Damian
y ou are completely wrong my friend It is absolutely possible to wear it bring it next summer with you and I'll show you how :0))) After my 55mm Zeno I think that 5mm wouldn't harm me Thank God for broad (hairy) wrist Best Damian
Hey Nic, so it is possible that it may end up in 47 or a size smaller than 60? Was there any precedence where the size of casing changed from prototype to commercial models? Thanks!
but I don't know if it'll be a really big hit because this watch is 60mm. The only people who I think will buy it are flippers and the really die-hard Panerai fans who appreciate Panerai's history. Everyone else who buys this piece will probably eventuall...
Because hell this is like a dream come true! I even spoke with my family about it and they all agreed that i should get it. No wait, I MUST! Will be posting photos of this one when i get mine! Cheers Stephen
There are a lot of Old School Guys, here and there, who will consider it for what it is: A True Piece of Pa,erai History, as I said to Stephen. You, for example, are the happy owner of the 21 and the 203... You " only " have to add the Compass and this Eg...
But if you don't already have a 47mm Luminor Panerai, you should also consider one, like the 127 or the 217... And you will have something like that: Replace the Torch by a Luminor, and imagine the " allure " of your Collection! Best. Nicolas...
But i havent found one yet! Well not exactly, you see, i have a strict principle that i would never buy from the grey market, so i have yet to find a 127 or 217 from an AD! Which is the only possible way i could find myself getting one! Well, if i miss th...
I think to re-issue the Egiziano in 47mm would be compromising the significance of this iconic piece in Panerai history. I reckon this piece is not meant to be worn much, but rather a piece for collection, made for the avid Panerai collector -- thus the l...
if Panerai will ever make a 'small' 47 mm version of the Egiziano, this piece is unique as it is and that means 60 mm like it or not, they'd have to make a specially new case again as it is not 100% the same with any other 47mm case, so I realy doubt if t...
is the fourth piece of the equation, indeed. Like you said, "If some of you already have the 127, the Cali, and the Compass, I think that this Egiziano is a must have". Totally agree with you. I love all in this watch (case, bezel, indexes with the same t...
If I'm thinking to add it in my collection? Of course, YES. But I' d have to go on the 127, which is very expensive, and on the Compass Pam 191, too. So, back to Panerai? That is THE question... Best, Hermano. Nicolas
with these kind of pieces... Great Hermano!. And for Panerai it´d be really good.... a True Lover and Apassionate collector who loves and understand this brand, this Laboratorio de Ideas!. Best my Apassionate friend. Emilio
the way Panerai does the vintage tinted as they did on the Cali...which give both watch more vintage look! But the 60mm diameter is not a daily watch, on the otherhand...I think it is more or less the watch for GTG. Anyway, the Egiziano will definitely be...
