I don't mind at all!! I always feel like I'm showing off when I post these vintage creatures, when in fact I am not. I sold a BUNCH of watches to acquire these babies :)

Left is a 6152/1, right a 3646 Type D....As for the font, you are correct. In fact, all 3646's I have seen have this "thicker" font....Perhaps one of the vintage experts can chime in.. :)

...that's a serious chunk of Panerai history you've got there... ...respect!!! :8

Or do watches mostly only come out when the wives are away? ;) Very nice pair, by the way, as good as it gets in the Panerai pantheon.

Type D... ? How did you get them? Are you sure of their provenance? I am always concerned when it comes to Vintage Panerai. I wish I could feed the horse by the mouth.... Best, Nicolas
