Officine Panerai

This is a limited edition, in platinum, of 100 ( not sure ) pieces, 47 mm, released in 2014. I am not certain we covered it, this year or past year. I fell on this picture, on the net, to be credited to Panerai and Chronos PL. The idea behind the PAM 521 ...  

I like the Radiomir case, wire lugs, onion crown, angular bezel and small second sub-dial. But I also agree with you that the movement could/ should be better decorated. I know it's in platinum, but 80,000 USD for a manual wind movement without complicati... 

... on some of those vintage Prototypes... but with still some questions left open, modern Panerai still enjoys all of them to feed the heritage inspired SEs. As to this one, the front side use of the back ring does not exactly enhance the elegance the Ra... 

... having checked some offerings for this watch, you can buy it second hand for about the same price as the PAM 300 Mare Nostrum - which has a steel case and is probably comparable in terms of inner qualities. Suddenly it appears a little less \'over the... 

Still, I find this bezel a bit strange on that Radiomir... I mean the combination dial + bezel... Bigger numbers, engraved bezel may be more convincing. I don't know... Best, Nicolas

far less than...impressed. I found the case..chunky..pure and simple. I'm sure that the platinum will..slim down..the chunkyness, but the case itself is...really...thick. It's a remake of an historical model, to be sure, I'm sure it has its..secret and no...
