That is interesting...

 

I've worn it since Sunday, power reserve and accuracy are OK... And I tried to wind another PreV Panerai and it feels the same with mine...

Well all I know that movement are the same UNITAS 6497 but different decoration..

I guess I'll need to check one more time, compare it to my Vendome models again.. And maybe consult to an expert on watch movements here..

But I somehow doubt that it needs a service..

You wrote a superb post about the PreVendome Logo... It might be one of the post that made me really want to get it... I'd like to thank you because in fact I learned a lot about it from your post... I do however would like to ask you about the movement..... 

There is no difference about the ETA on the Pre V and the one used in the ....

Vendome one, as for the beats per hour, Sam. It is the same, and the only thing which changes is the decoration. If the winding feel is different, maybe it is due to the fact that your pre v Logo needs a service? Here is a document for you: Best, Nicolas....

exactly what you are talking about....the winding is just so silky smooth, less resistance than the Vendome models. hey, if it's keeping good time with a healthy reserve, I wouldn't worry a bit

the different eta finish, i think preV's are different with no "col de cygne" for the regulation (sorry i don't know the name in English) Best Ivan...

PAM0. I used to want one until I saw the PreV. It did not have anything to do with history per se but more the dial layout. It makes perfect aesthetic sense to group Luminor Panerai together leaving the logo on the bottom half. The reverse makes it slight...

The PreV is sort of more like an artisanal creation... You can definitely compare to the vendome models and can tell easily that manufacture process of the vendome models is much better But on the dial... I'd say the PreV Logo is much more balanced with "...

Sam, This is truly a piece with its unique character and identity. The indexes, numerals and the logo on the dial are iconic by itself and sometimes I just go crazy just by looking at them. This really calls for a celebration... Enjoy and pamper it with c...

What you said about it is 100% correct The dial is to die for... It is just so simple and balanced.. Really beautiful... The bad thing is that it distracts me when I drive... I really do not have anything else on my list... I'm really satisfied with this,...

Hi Sam, The sexy thicker, brushed crownguard makes it even more 'macho'. I'm glad OP revitalised the thicker brushed crownguard concept and introduced it from some of their G series Luminors. Brilliant. Once again, wear it in the best of health and watch ...
