... but wonder if the dial printing is too delicate for the heavy 1940 case and lugs. The watches don't seem as well integrated overall as other large, simple 47mm Panerais.

However, w/ commercial interests behind, I can imagine biased decisions made in exchange for short term gain. With JL at helm for the Richemont group, hopefully we can start to see some decisions planned w/ longer vision.
