Would you choose ceramic or steel

...what counts is the dial. If I want something..that...busy, I buy a Breiteling, not a Panerai. I'm a bit of an...orthodox..Paner-a-ista :-) Ciao

Hello steventarmac I think I would choose stainless over the high tech ceramics. Ceramics have a beautiful color and scratch resistance, But, are brittle. The chance of cracking the case if the watch is hit or dropped is more likely with ceramics. Just so... 

If you already have a lot of steel watches, why not get something else to mix things up? And so, I'd get the ceramic if you don't have a ceramic watch in your collection. If this will be your 1st watch, then I would suggest getting the steel Panerai inste...
