Too big & will break down
Owned a PAM 359. Bought it new. Broke down within weeks. Owned a PAM379. Bought it new. Broke down within weeks. Guessing they are like Alfa Romeo's....Pretty but unreliable.
Comfort: not there. Case is too big. Buckle is way too big. When you wear a 45 mm+ Panerai all day and you take it of at the end of the day it's a relief. After 2 PAM's I said to myself: never again!
Nevertheless: I want one again... :-/
It must be that simple incredibly strong design. I mean; just look at those sandwich dials. Too cool for school. The appeal of owning a (base) Panerai is getting to me again. So now I'm hoping that if I would go for a base destro it might work? PAM219 perhaps??
What is the first thing you think of when you hear the word Panerai?
For me it is the crownguard....
For me, a large sporty highly legible rugged watch
And of course, the crown guard is my favorite aspect of Panerai. AT
