I've heard says that, back then Panerai (due to Sly) gained a flash popularity in Tin Town. One 304 Slytech was given to Demi Moor as a present and the name stuck! There there was also a Brad Pitt model. Pitt had a couple of them laying around too. Arnold was also part of the Panerai celebrities "inner circle" BEFORE the 341 (Egiziano) came out
