It's a basic movement made by ValFleurier for the masses to lower their costs. I have had a variation of this movement in the IWC mark x2 and Ingenieur x2 and various submersibles. IWC has the best iteration as they seem to modify the date mechanism and g... 

42mm Submersible with, I think, a hacking version of that movement. I recognized the loose gear train complaint, it was the slowest 'quick change' date I've ever experienced!

I have to agree the dial is indeed awesome and the bezel also looks really nice. Wear and enjoy it in good health. Can't wait to see which model is the other Panerai. Marc
