Very interesting review. I am scratching my head on that watch.
It is way too close to the Pre Vendome, as you said. I would have preferred, BY FAR, a smaller PAM 300, whose case was 52 mm big... But in the same style than the PAM 300. Or a totally different approach of the Mare Nostrum.

I think the main idea could have been to design first a nice dress watch using this initial design. So the potential customers could be anyone looking for a dress watch or pam lovers which can connect to the closeness of the pam 300.

I fail to understand why Panerai will make a clone or homage of the 1993 Mare Nostrum. Personally I think creating homages only makes sense when the original watch is no longer readily available on the secondary market. It surely isn't the case for the Ma...
