The PAM282 is a 40mm titanium Luminor w/ blue anthracite dial which I find very attractive. Panerai doesn't make many models with this dial, so you probably won't see many of these on people's wrists when walking down the street.
With regards to your investment value question, we try not to talk about market prices in the forum to maintain our non-commercial guidelines. But in general, watches are usually not great investments, so you should always buy what you like. If it goes up in value over, that makes it even better. If it goes down in value, that's alright too I guess as long as you still get the intangible joys of wearing your watch

It's a wonderful piece because with the unique blue dial. My wife loves it as it is 40mm and suit the women better. Of course, it's for sure unisex! Cheers! Nien
