What's this - a second waterlogged 335?!?

OMG...
...when I saw the OP's, I chalked it up to "the one that got away" (from QA testing). But... two? Two different units - and both 335s, what the f...heck?!?

I have a brand new 233; I've washed it under running water but I couldn't bring myself to submersing it, after having seen this post. What does this say, to have a watch from a company known for the first submersible... and being afraid to submerse it in a few cm of water... :|

I told a friend & fellow Panerai fan that I wanted to take my brand new PAM in to have it tested for water resistance (a dry run, so to speak) and he thought it was an odd thing to do, considering the watch is brand new... . Well, I'd rather find out through a dry run that my PAM is not properly sealed than to place it in water only to have it fog  up - or worse, waterlogged like this poor fellow's 335...

What do you guys think? Would you take yours in, or assume it will survive a few laps in the pool (as it was designed too...)?
