As far as I know PAM 497 has applied hour numerals on the dial which seem quite "uncommon" for Panerai, and to be honest I don't like the date window (magnifying glass).
IMHO: the 395! But that's just my personal taste.
More important is: which one "sings" more to you?

Of the two I really do like the PAM 395 better. Still thinking about moving forward or not. I know the RG Panerai is not desirable to many, I just like RG watches. Best, JerryW
I like the PAM395 better because the dial is more clean
Below is a picture of the PAM497 which is a limited edition of 250 pieces. It's definitely one of the more busy dials; so if you like the look, there's aren't many other Panerai Radiomirs that have this same look so I'd definitely consider it if you reall...
