Yes the PAM246 is an appropriate watch to wear everyday
My opinion is it's a very versatile watch suitable for both sporty and dressy occassions even when you're using the stock brown OEM croc strap. If you want even more sporty, you can change it to a vintage brown looking strap. And for elegant affairs, if you need to wear black belt and shoes, then u can swap out the brown croc strap to a black croc.
