Arronax spoke to that above by pointing out issues some of these newer materials have had in standing up to basic stresses. Strength and durability is something Panerai has meant to me, so while innovation has its place, there can’t be a compromise of its foundational character and history. As such, I won’t object to their being more conservative instead of rushing or forcing innovation. We’ll see how they continue to do.
