You're right....but
the dial is not as clean as a Panerai's should be. The 88, though also has an extremly "busy" dial. I had one and it fast became my least favourite one. This one at least has a "new" Panerai look which will become more and more familiar to the....aficionados
88 or 171
Cant decide. Power reserve, braclet, gmt, thicker hands, steel vs titanium etc. found both used for great price. 171 a little more money. any thoughts/ Grant
Definitely PAM88 for me
I'm never been a fan of the PAM171 and similar models because of the off-centered power reserve display between 4 & 5 o'clock (see below pic) pic by 1bgeorge The dial layout of the PAM171 looks awkward to my eyes. Doesn't have the usual Panerai "balance"....
