Once a watch is fully run -in, does it always lose time or can it also possibly gain time?
In my case, some new watches started to lose time after several months but in 1 case where it was no longer new and I sent it in for factory regulation, it came back running within +2 secs/day but after abt 5-6 mths it went + 4-6 secs/day.
Speedy Pro gaining time

Too fast
Yes, that does sound too fast for this watch when new, but I would agree completely with John above to give it some more wrist time before sending it off for regulation. I wonder which wrist you wear it on though, left or right?

Agreed - leave it
I'm assuming this watch was recently purchased new - you didn't specify. If that's the case, I would agree with John that it's wisest to leave it alone for now. If nothing else, Omega's stated spec on their webpage for non-COSC movements is -1/+10 so you'...
Mine also gains about a minute every 3 days.....
.....but its not bothering me too much. I'll just wait and see how it goes. BTW, Bill the chrono start/stop problem that I had when I received the watch is now OK. Ran the chrono a few times and it seems to have sorted itself out! :~) Thanks!
Spring
The spring being new or old, or fully wound should not significantly affect timekeeping of your watch.
I wind mine fully every morning for the past month or so....
....but i can live with the discrepancy.....for now :~)
