Thanks, Art. Yes, this is my second Omega.
My first Omega was a Chronoscope (in steel, white dial and brown leather strap) which I bought a few months ago, but I sold it because I found that it was rather bulky/thick.
Got attracted to the Hour Vision because of the in-house movement and also the overall design.
Looking forward to see Omega incorporating the 8500 movement in their subsequent collections.

. . . was the entirely in-house movement a deciding factor for you? The 8500 / 8501 series of movements mark Omega's return to the ranks of manufacturers by anyone's definition of the term. I don't think anyone I know personally has an Hour Vision yet . ....

I like the Hour Vision too, especially the dark dial versions. It will be interesting to see what else Omega does with the Hour Vision line. - SJX
