in the 1960's OMEGA made a series of movements internally , with NO PARTS outsourced from any other company, the gears, little screws, handset etc etc etc ... were all fabricated by OMEGA itself the series was called the 600 because they were made in 1960's ... it is the only series of movement that is TOTALLY OMEGA made, not even parts from their movement maker/sister company Lemania were used .... the 600 series of movement are so well made that any competent watch maker can calibrate them to this day to perform to modern day chronometer standards
