A 30t2rg chronometre, this time in steel
Last February, when Bill asked us about our favorite color, I said that I liked the warm tone of gold.
It was there: omega.watchprosite.com

That is one of the main reason why my Omega chronometers were in gold cases.
Until recently...
I had the chance to see an 30t2rg chronometer in steel and I had to admit that there cannot be strict rules concerning warm colors.
Was it due to the patined dial whose color is getting close to the one of champagne?
Or was it simply the pureness and magnetism of this watch?
The result is that I was warmed by this chronometer. And I needed this heat to ward off the grey, rainy and cold days in Paris...

I've never seen this dial color but then again, I know not much. Are the dial and hands all original? What's the case diameter less then crown? Regardless, this is absolutely lovely! Congrats!

The case diameter is 33mm excluding the crown. That is the small version. Concerning the hands and dial, I believe they are all original. And thank you for your nice words!

Chronometer is a fascinating theme for watch collectors
... but is is also a never ending subject! For sure a Zenith 135 would be welcomed, and a Peseux 260, and why not a Longines, and ... ;) I hope you will soon see it in the flew. Thank you for your fervor!

Hi Andrew, I am in doubt if your dream may come true one day... Why don´t you buy one for a reasonable price - they are not so expensive, especially the 33 mm examples... I think you could afford one :-) kind regards erich

Expensive is a relative term and these 33mm watches are considered too small by many. I do think they remain "reasonable". At the end, the real dream starts with the watch on the wrist! I am sure you will find yours. It is also a question of patience and ...

is it a scratch on the crystal that plays tricks? have not seen your shade of discolouration before.was it a silver tone dial? the very outer part looks like some silver streaks? i had 3 chronometers 30 RG; one YG in the small size like yours, one in pink...
