On the new silver piece it looks like there are red numerals going down the side, "14 15 16". Any idea why it would have had military time on such a delicate piece? A

Hi Aaron, I do not think that these additional red numbers are a hint for military use of these watches - they are seen quite often on watches that early! Take pocket watches for example - it was common practice to execute the additional numbers 12-24 in ... 

Many countries in Latin America, Europe and Asia uses what is called "military time" by the AM/PM countries. Since Omega makes watches for the entire globe, it makes sense. Cheers, Nilo

... i have not had any rectangular omega so far, but i do have others, e.g. JLC and one recent GO Karree. your rectangular omega has special charm and does attract me a lot, i would keep an eye on it too in future. by the way, i really enjoy and almost re... 

Hi Stefan, thank you for your kind words. Yes, it is worth to go for rectangular Omegas - it is a wide field of collecting and there are so many different versions - if somebody loves rectangular cases in general he will find a watch which he can fall in ...

...a ladies watch - no it is not! I show you a wristshot (on my wrist not the metal lady´s one) to give you a feeling for the size It is actually 38mm long and 25mm wide without winder... hope this helps. kind regards Erich...
