The pic above was the best of about 10 or 12. With macro photography, sometimes it is difficult to really know what you have captured until you see it on the computer
I plan on shooting some more macros after the watch stops. In the meantime, here's a picture from about a year ago... the awkward marks around the "2" in the lower right are from some poor efforts to photoshop out the serial number. In this setup, the screw heads were reflecting something that makes them look blued. Interesting. But is really the same watch!
Speedy sapphire sandwich movement

unfortunately, my speedy has a delrin ( plastic ) brake because it has a closed non see through back. Cheers,dreamer
