i mentioned this to Tim by pm last night, but
didnt want to sound deprecating on open forum. i think that is one of the
problems of an Omega service. if the hands are bad they'll do a complete change
and this set have been the standard since 1966.
i spoke to my watchmaker this morning and NOS
correct centre sec hands are available if Tim wants to change it. it wont look
out of place as the others are nicely white.
i found several 64's with the wrong second hand,
but with aged hands so a NOS change wasnt possible or it would look
odd.
it shows its been well maintained which is the
most important thing.

Hi Graham, I see what you mean. Would be interesting to know why it may have been changed though? The tritium seems to match very well between the dial and hands. I mentioned to you by PM that my second hand had a slightly different location for the lozen...
