I think I’m finally starting to understand something here. Despite not having figured out - yet - why these were made the way they were back in the 40s and 50s, I’m starting to understand their relevancy to watch collecting and why on a sunny Sunday after...

To be honest many of your posts here over the last ten years had given me insight and fueled my passion in vintage watches. The purists have been a great source of information and a really nice place to come in and unwind after a day’s of hard work.

I really like vintage Omegas. Yours are two great examples of the way a watch should be made. What were the fliers about, and how much was the ticket?

That was a page out of a book

. . . Ω jumbos have eluded my collection up 'til now, even though one popped up recently at a Whittier pawn shop . . . reasonable price, too. (Never went back to close the deal.) Maybe next year. 'Til then, we'll have your images to tide us over. Thanks, ...
