Ben,
i 'think' that the calender with date at 6 was
earlier as mine dated from 1954 with a 35X bumper auto. i only have 2 poor pics
of it with no caseback. it shows what is probably a generic crown. Bill will
know the correct crowns for the correct cases. it just shows that i should have
kept better records of my watches, but all i kept were sellers
pics.
personally i prefer the date at 6 over the date
at 3 as its more unusual, but any classic Omega in good condition is a nice
piece to own.
