What's your experience with the crown, it looks quite small/thin, is it difficult to grab to wind the movement?

No issue with the crown.
Operating is smooth and easy ...but you need +- 90 turns to fully wind the watch !
Too easy!
The only thing I don't like about that watch is the lack of any feedback whatsoever in the winding.
A favorite for sure.

What a beautiful vintage looking Omega Specialities CK 859.
It really is a beautiful watch and just looks so clean and sharp and the blued hands really pop on the dial. Wear and enjoy it in good health. Marc

Surprising that it was only for a very short period in their portfolio.
Mine just says "numbered edition"
With an individual number engraved on the backside.
