Quite scary but private seller has been very responsive and following up so I felt much secured.

I love it. White dial Speedy’s are my favorite and rare to see!

Snoopy, Tokyo 2020, Albino, Apollo 11 35th, etc are all nice.

I think this is still reasonably within inflation and the history of the watch.

Looks like there are a few NOS samples still available but it’s “sky” high asking. I’m lowering my expectations a bit for these since it’s 11-years already so have to find a balance between what to get. I wish and hope you find yours too, and you’ve known...

. . . sitting on dealer's shelves. I took this photo in 2010. Can't say for sure if it was the same one, but the Omega boutique in Beverly Hills had one on display for a very long time. Now, they're practically unobtainable. As they say in France, "Better...  

But no...hence my actions. This one was from Switzerland, and previous owner was able to purchase it in Jul 2012 with a discount...he's happy to let it go with a nice "appreciation"

I’m pleasantly surprised of the conditions too. May I ask if you also find some small difficulty winding this watch? The crown is a little hidden under/inside the case, like Snoopy. Thanks for the well wishes and I need to put on those cool Velcro’s too. ... 

I don’t recall too much difficulty in the winding; although I would say some of my older speedmasters do wind tighter (than modern ones with cal 1861) and probably do need some servicing. Best regards

I was offered one by the Omega Boutique at Greenbelt 4 mall in Makati, Philippines back in 2012, but I declined. What was I thinking?

Back in 2014, I was able to choose blue or white Nautilus 5711, but I chose the 5726, lol....what was I thinking too!

You really have a special edition within the oceans off special editions. It was on my list as well , but the list is always way to long and as you said : The train is living the station ... Wear it in good health!

From the response so far, looks like this Alaska Project is going to be very popular, maybe more so than the Silver Snoopy? Things come and go but I don’t want to regret later so...HAGWE.

I still regret back in 2010, there was one sitting in years in AD here, and they offered big discount but I declined and purchased a seamaster. Wish I could go back in time....

I wonder if this watch is still depreciating, will you regret? Sometimes I question myself if Nautilus or SS Daytona is 40% depreciated when we bought it, like many Omega models, will I still want it. Food for thought?

Back then I thought I still could buy it pre-owned at reasonable price, meanwhile I have other priorities, such as a diver, a dress watch, etc. Should I bought it and the market value drop, does not bother me at all. I have several watches that drops in v... 

and just enjoy this hobby. I also have many watches like GP, BP, Omegas that took a nice hair cut but I purchased them for the same reason back then...enjoying. Cheers 🍻
