Display back for my Speedmaster 105.003. a total revelation
i know SteveH showed us his last week, but i was so impressed with the way it changes the look of the speedmaster that i thought i post mine as well. the custom made display back from the same source as steve's arrived looking great and with an OEM omega gasket which i later found out was to replace the original gasket in the rear. fitting was very simple, but unlike steve's my movement rattled a bit so i needed a spacer between the top of the movement and the caseback. i rifled through my box of bits and came up with a smaller rubber gasket which fitted perfectly so no more rattling.
the movement looks superb through the glass so here's a pic.

if anyone wants a display back for an early model feel free to pm me or Steve or perhaps even Vernon as we all know the guy. in fact this watch came from him.
enjoy
